今日は、11日目とは逆に、普段読んで解答している Part 7、6 をリスニングしながら解くというトレーニングを行う。音声についていけば「後戻りせずに英語の語順で読む」訓練ができるので、積極的に挑戦しよう。

この Task では、Part 7 のシングルパッセージを２つ、ダブルパッセージを１つ取り上げる。
冒頭に「設問チェック時間」として８秒のポーズがあり、その後すぐに文書の音声が流れる。文字を目で追いながら聞き、解答しよう。その際のポイントは以下のとおり。
① 文書全体の中の重要情報が、通常は最初と最後に来ることを意識し
② 各パラグラフの１、２文目を重視
③ パラグラフの冒頭の接続語や、文頭の接続語に注意して論理展開を把握し
④ 各文のメインの主語と述語に意識を向ける
⑤ 繰り返し登場する語、肯定的な語、否定的な語に注意して
⑥ 語順に従って追加されていく情報をチャンク単位で次々とキャッチし
⑦ 設問の答えのヒントを示すキーワードを見つける
文書の音声の後、８秒たつと GO ON TO THE NEXT PAGE の指示が流れる。その後に、先読み用のポーズが８秒設けられているので、次の設問の先読みを行おう。
